ALLA FERMATA, opened by Pierangelo and Gianna in May 2010, is an oasis of style in Lugano! With Pierangelo, owner of a fashion agency with a showroom in Zurich, opening this store was a natural extension of his passion for fashion. The name “Alla Fermata” comes from its original location on Via Nizzola, just across the street from a bus stop.

Alla Fermata is distinguished by its continuous search for unique and niche items, especially in the field of clothing and footwear. Their mood is inspired by black and white, a perfect juxtaposition that reflects their vision of style. They also offer accessories such as handbags and belts, with a strong inspiration from the Italian market and a trend toward Japanese creativity for women’s collections.

Each brand they choose has a unique story, and they personally visit their suppliers’ companies to get a thorough understanding of production and be able to tell their customers about it. At Fermata, each garment is designed to create combinations that tell a story.
